This stunning exhibition will celebrate the rescue services who keep us safe at sea. A mix of large objects, stories, photography, film and artefacts offers you the opportunity to climb inside a Sea King search and rescue helicopter, get involved in a rescue, experience what it’s like when the worse happens and discover the heroes of our seas. Open daily 10am-5pm, seven days a week. Adults £9.50, Children (0-5) free, (6-15) £6.50, Senior (60+) £7.75, Family (2 adults and up to 3 children) £27.
Daily throughout May.10am-5pm. This year will be the 11th year the choughs have nested at Southerly Point.
Binoculars and telescope allow great close-up views of these Cornish crows as they fly to and from their nesting cave. Watchpoint wardens can show you other wildlife in the area too, including seabirds and grey seals.
It may be necessary to close the Watchpoint in bad weather, and during periods of low tide if wardens need to protect the nest from disturbance.
If the watchpoint is closed, a notice board will detail the latest chough information. 8 www.cornishchoughs.org
